This beautiful black matrix opal doublet, which was cut by Gary, has to be seen in natural sunlight to be believed. The entire stone is alive with blue, red, orange, yellow, and green fire, with the predominant colors being red and blue. This excellent quality material is out of Honduras and is in high demand and quite short supply. 
The approximate dimensions of the stone are 26 x 16 x 5 mm, so there is lots of opal in this doublet. The opal is set in a solid 14 carat gold mount which was designed and entirely hand fabricated by Gary. This opal has not been enhanced, or altered in any way, except that it was sealed to protect the stone from moisture.

The outer two sterling silver members are smooth. The stone is an attractive amethyst which was cut by Gary.  The stone dimensions are 25 mm by 18 mm. The braclet is intended for a ladie's wrist of medium size, but can be custom formed by the wearer to fit a wide range of wrist sizes. This bracelet can be custom made in any size and with most any type of stone, depending on availability. The price varyies somewhat with size and type of stone.
