emerald cut stone was cut by Gary and features an unusual design of the

Custom Cutting & Mounting
| If you require a custom stone,
whether of a specific material or cut design or both, we can make your
wish come true. Gary has the skill to cut a number of custom designs including
variations of the standard round brilliant, round flasher cut, ovals, cut
corner emeralds, square and triangle barions, and hearts.
Custom cuts are available in most natural materials as long as rough material can be found. In many cases, man made materials can be obtained which are chemically and structurally the same as the natural material. The advantage to man made materials is that there are no hidden inclusions and imperfections to ruin the beauty of the stone and man made material is generally available when natural material is not. In addition, man made material is usually considerably less expensive and can be afforded in larger sizes, partilcularly in the case of emerald, ruby, and sapphire. Also, there are man made materials that have high refractive index and high dispersion and have no natural counterpart. These materials are true gemstones in their own right. They usually come in a great assortment of colors and are available in almost any size. Please do not hesitate to discuss these materials when considering a custom gemstone. Of course, most any gemstone can be set in the metal of your choice. There is a large selection of custom settings to choose from. These setting can usually be had with smaller augmentation stones to enhance the beauty of the primary stone. These settings are available in sterling silver, gold, and platinum. |
